The new Slate design sucks

I hate the new Slate design.

I haven't even looked at the nav or anything like that, but the typography is terrible. Letters are fuzzy and hard to read. It looks like someone's spilled water on all the text and it's bled a little.

The images also look fuzzy. It's terrible.
