The LA Times has a long, and very good, article on the upcoming
Eldred v. Ashcroft case in which Lessig will challenge the consitutionality of the Mickey Mouse Copyright Act, which extended (retroactively) the term of copyright by 20 years. I'll be interested in polling some U Chicago Law professors on this when term starts, but until then here are some old notes on the
economics of copyright.
